Glasses can change your whole look and wearing your makeup to complement your glasses and your face is all about your personal taste. Whether you’re new to wearing glasses or looking for a way to freshen up your style, here are some tips to help you along the way.

1.Make sure you use a primer before anything else. This is a good idea whether you’re wearing glasses or not, but it helps a LOT with the whole sliding down your nose thing that inevitably happens as your natural oils come to the surface during the day. Blend, blend, blend, and top it gently with some colorless setting powder.

2. Coordinate your makeup with your glasses. If you’ve got a fresh new pair of red frames, pout your red lippy to match! Got basic color frames (ie. black or brown) you can still opt for a bold lip.

3. Make sure you use under eye concealer. If you use one with a yellow tone to it, it helps brighten the area that your glasses are making look darker.

4. Your eyebrows are still going to show, no matter the size of the frames so make sure you keep them groomed. Frame your frames with neat, bold, manicured brows.

5. Curl your lashes and use mascara for Pete’s sake! The reason for the curling of the lashes is that if you have long straight lashes, they’re going to bump right into your lenses and bug you all day. If you curl those bad boys up, you’ve neatly tucked them upwards all while bringing the added drama and definition to your eyes.

Extra Tip: If you’re on your way to getting your new pair and your prescription hasn’t changed from last year, now’s a good time to spring for a color you don’t already have. That way you can “outfit-ize” your new glasses with your makeup or your outfit!

Smile bat your lashes and sport your lenses like the beauty queen you are.
